Ah…Hard Boiled! That movie was an early introduction for me into over the top Asian cinema.
What about The Killer? To me, that one was even more amazing…

Hmm, I don’t suppose these are movies that I should’ve seen? Because I haven’t. And now I feel slightly bad about that…
The only one there you have to see is Cool Hand Luke. Pure classic.

Actually I think it was from a public TV pledge drive years ago, and I haven’t watched it since.

Cool Hand Luke is one of the greatest movies ever made. It should be required watching in high school. The 3 Tenors, however, suck. But Jackie Chan is awesome. So on balance, I approve.
What about John Woo? Do you approve of him too? I have to know, because I care so much about what you think.

Interesting collection – from home or work???
HA HA HA! We watched a Jackie Chan movie two weeks ago and laughed so much…it was hysterical! “It’s like a Mexican standoff, only without the Mexicans.” LOL!

I haven’t seen any of those… and the 3 Tenors isn’t inspiring me to start.
That’s quite the collection.
You are a man with a big appetite for movies and books. I understand the books but have never quite understood the fascination with movies. I married a movie guy and even after knowing him for 27 years, I still don’t get it. That said, I’d watch pretty much anything with Paul Newman starring, co-starring, or simply standing around in a crowd.)
